Polyamory & The Festive Season on Bent TV

I was on Bent TV with the wonderful Lisa Skye once again, this time talking about polyamory and the festive season. A busy time for all to be sure, and poly adds complications! If you missed the segment on C31, you can watch it via the youtube video above.

Love and Luck is LIVE!!!

My dear friends!  After almost a year of hard work, I'm very happy to be able to tell you that my queer romance audio drama podcast, Love and Luck, is now live!  The first three episodes are available, and it'll be publishing weekly updates for almost a full year of its first season!

Here's some helpful links on where you can listen to it:

It's been a lot of fun and a lot of work making this podcast, and I'm very happy with the result!  I hope you all enjoy it as well!

Floodlight Viscera Volume 1 Now Available

Well friends, it's been a year of making my little zine, and I decided to celebrate by putting together an anthology of the first 12 issues. 100 pages of dark, wet, and personal poetic writings from the last 12 months.

Floodlight Viscera Volume 1 is now available. Both as a lovely A5 size booklet (much bigger than the original mini zine sized issues!), and as a PDF that is a couple of dollars.

All the original digital issues are still free, the little price on the digital anthology is just to give you the option to support me :)

Floodlight Viscera & Radio Appearance

Hello friends!  I tell you, it's a busy time for me at the moment.  I have two bits of news for you today!

First up, Floodlight Viscera issue 12 is now available via floodlightviscera.com.  You can download a free pdf of it here, or buy a physical copy for $1 on etsy.  You can also find it stocked at Sticky Institute in Melbourne.

The second is that my partner Lee and I were on 3CR community radio yesterday as guests of the wonderful Sally Goldner, on her show Out of the Pan.  We talked about Love and Luck, and accessibility in the arts and the LGBTIQA+ community.  You can listen to the whole show online here.

Well friends, exciting news today - I, as part of Quippings, will be performing at the Malthouse Theatre on June 15, as part of the Emerging Writers Festival!  Quippings is taking on LOVE, and we're gonna throw ourselves into it with as much passion as we possibly can!

The Love and Luck Podcast

I have an exciting announcement to make, although I will admit that if you follow me on twitter, you're already intimately familiar with this particular project!

I am producing a podcast!  It is called Love and Luck, and it's a radio play queer love story with a touch of magic, told via voicemails.

Back in November 2016, I began writing a first draft of a script for a podcast.  I needed some stress relief, and more than that, I needed a power fantasy.  So I started writing a queer love story about some witch boyfriends, who use their magic powers to support and protect their queer community.

Many revisions, edits, plans, networking, and project to do lists later, I'm happy to say that we're well into production.  We had our first recording session on the 23rd of April at the Kathleen Syme Library and Community Centre, and we've got quite a few more to go over the next few weeks.  If all goes well (and I've no reason to believe it won't, I was very generous with allowing time to fix last minute issues in my production timeline!) we will be launching in September 2017.

I am very excited about this little podcast, and I hope that you will listen to it when it comes out!  You can find out more about it by following it on social media - all the details of which can be found on its website, loveandluckpodcast.com.

And Thus Ends Midsumma 2017!

My goodness, what a huge season it's been! This has been my biggest Midsumma yet - I performed at 2 shows, spoke on a panel about queerness and disability, and spoke after Pride March. It's been wildly busy and exhausting, but I've loved every second of it. I can't wait to see what next year will bring!
